Generally as long as hair removal is considered, most people believe that it is only about hair other than on their heads! Removing hair on the heads, is as much part of hair removal. And when we mean hair removal…we are talking about Shaving Heads!
Shaved Head previously used to be seen as a sign of lack of virility in some men of some cultures while it meant differently in different cultures. But today, shaved head is a fashion statement. However the myths attached to going for shaved head still exist though they are of a different kind.
People believe that shaving head will result in thicker, denser and healthier hair. The belief is half myth and possibly half correct.
Thicker hair is definitely not possible, because the hair follicle size doesn’t increase after shaving your head. But once hair starts growing on the head, the new hair is relatively unaffected by any pollution, bleaching, blowing and all external hair spoilers.
