Vaniqa is a hair removal cream applied on the skin. It reduces the growth of facial hair in women above the age of 12 years. It is a prescription cream. How Vaniqa Works: This cream contains a chemical substance called eflornithine hydrochloride. It influences an enzyme called ornithine decarboxylase in our body. This enzyme is associated with the growth of hair. Enzymes are naturally available chemical substances which help in carrying out various processes in our body. Every process is a chemical reaction basically. However, this cream is not found to be effective for all.

Experiments were carried out on the effectiveness of this cream on women. 58% of women reported that they found the cream effective in its job. For getting optimal results, hair removal techniques like shaving and plucking can be used along with this cream. It takes 2 months to notice any change. If the usage of the cream is stopped in between, the hair may reappear.
